What’s your why?

When you have a health goal, it’s easy to start “shoulding” yourself.

I should go to the gym.

I shouldn’t eat a second cookie.

I shouldn’t doomscroll on my phone before bed.

But all these shoulds quickly get exhausting and deflating. 😑 Then our good intentions go out the window.

Knowing your “why” for a specific goal is key for staying motivated to hit your goal without all that unnecessary pressure.

For example, let’s say you want to regain some energy. Great, but why? Maybe the answer seems obvious. After all, who wouldn’t choose abundant energy over dragging around?

But the deep-down “why” is the thing, or things, that become possible when you have more energy. Hiking a fourteener, being more productive at work, playing with your kids or grandkids. The “why” is what brings you joy, purpose and satisfaction.

Keeping these specifics in mind can fuel your motivation, day after day, even when you stumble along the way.

In my 3-month program, I’ll help you identify the whys behind your goals and address challenges standing in your way, be those habit-oriented or logistical. And I’ll help you take the small, doable steps that lead you to lasting changes that feel good.

Why should you do it any other way?
